60 years of FICC
(24.05.07) The International Federation of Film Societies was founded during the first film festival at Cannes 60 years ago and set up its main office in Paris. With little money but with a lot of enthusiasm the organisation has survived ups and downs but has through the years served as an important meeting point for film society people from all over the world. Former FICC VP awarded in Plzen
(07.05.07) For the first time in years there was no FICC jury at this year’s edition of the Czech national film festival in Plzen. However, at it's closing ceremony on 29 April 2007, the Festival of Czech Cinema awarded the Prize for an outstanding support of Czech cinema to former FICC vice president Robert Richter, Switzerland.
